Written Summary:
This video is the second
in a series by Tim Mousel of Mousel's Self Defense Academy in Houston, Texas. This
video shows the rank requirements for Level 3 Jeet Kune Do Concepts taught at Mr.
Mousel's school. As expected, the material is more difficult and advanced than the
material shown on the previous Level 2 video. The format is the same as the previous
video with the same general topics being covered. These included boxing, kickboxing,
Thai boxing, trapping, sensitivity drills and grappling.
This is a well produced
video and is very informative to beginning and intermediate students. The material
is also a good review for advanced martial artists, and if you have no background
in the filipino arts, there will certainly be some new material for you on this tape.
The training drills shown are okay but they are still beginning level material.
I
would recommend this video to any martial artist from beginning to intermediate level
or to anyone who has never looked at Jeet Kune Do Concepts. Most advanced students
would probably find this tape to be a solid review of material they already know.
